Grand Canyon North Rim

In the morning we awoke to another perfect day for riding. Sunny, warm and beautiful clear skies. Highway 67 to the North Rim was still closed for the season. Which was fine with us, since we had planned on riding there via the dirt roads anyway. We stopped for a yummy breakfast (Dave finished his with cookies!) packed some sandwiches for our lunch (and more cookies!) and off we went. These turned out to be really easy roads and more beauty to take in.

Jacob Lake Inn They make from scratch cookies, but those got eaten too fast for pictures!

They do their own baking there, so the french toast is made with their bread- yum!

100_0306
They also mill their own flour for the pancakes. They were really fluffy!
