Moab-

We decided to do the Arches National Park properly now that the rain was officially over. It was a perfect day to ride. Sunny, warm, but not hot. After seeing the sights, we had a quick lunch and headed onto Onion Creek Road, as we had been told by several groups that this was an easy ride and really beautiful. They were right, it was. At the end of Onion Creek, you have the choice to turn around and go back out the way you came, or continue onto what becomes Kokopelli Trail. This trail offered a bit more challenge, some fairly steep (by Ural standards anyway) uphill spots and Dave helped me get through some spots that just got to my head a bit too much. (Urals don't really like to climb, and neither do I) Once we got to the summit of this section, it was much easier, and offered some amazing vista and views, as you see below. We got back into town about 730, so it was definately a good day of riding. We were looking for a more quiet dinner, so we headed off to Pasta Jay's, which was quite good! (Sorry, no pics of dinner- we forgot!)

I mistakenly followed Bill & Lori onto a little jaunt that was not exactly part of the trail. It's more rutted than it looks! I could've gotten it with extra see-sawing, but it was easier with help! Thanks for the push Bill!
